What do you need to do before the transfer?Remove all personal items and data from your Tesla and check if there are software updates available. It's important that your car is up to date.
How do you initiate the account transfer with the Tesla App?
- Open the Tesla app.
- Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Tap ‘Add/Remove Products.’
- Under ‘Add,’ tap ‘Vehicle.’
- Follow the prompts: Choose “Indvidual person” and add these Information:
- First Name: Henrik Last Name: Sachs E-Mail: tesla@cardino.de
What happens after sending the information?
Now it's time to wait. Tesla will send you a confirmation that they have received your request and are working on it.
How can you ensure that the transfer was successful?
You can check whether the transfer was successful by opening your Tesla App. The transferred vehicle should no longer be displayed there.
What do you need to provide when selling?
Don't forget to hand over all physical items associated with the car, such as key cards or tags, chargers, and the user manual, to the new owner.
If you follow these steps, you can ensure a smooth and efficient transfer of your Tesla account to the new buyer. The new owner can then fully enjoy their new Tesla vehicle.
